From time to time I will add pictures of chickens that I have taken. This is one that I took somewhere in the middle of Equador. Anyone know the breed?

- Our family lives in a small town in Oklahoma. We have decided to raise chickens. Anyone with advice please feel free to share it. We currently have 11 chicks, all hens. The egg buisness is going good.

Yes, the Little family raised chickens when I was but a young child...along with hogs, cows, ponies, and german shepherds. With Chickens - I suggest down wind and far from the house...a 22 caliber rifle for chicken snakes, foxes, or other neigborhood pets that happen to like the tasty ones.
